Job Description:
The BI manager is primarily responsible for planning, directing and coordinating Business Intelligence projects from initiation to
implementation. Leads cross-functional project teams and works with Business Analysts/partners to determine and translate business
requirements into technology solutions. Responsible for managing project costs, resources, change requests, risks and issues to

Responsibilities:
Creates overall functional Business Intelligence direction and implementation plan
Contributes to the design of Business Intelligence application solutions including database design, ETL, report design and
analytics integration
Would be responsible for consulting with clients on business needs, translating business needs into analytics/reporting
requirements, and interfacing with company and client to ensure successful delivery of client reporting
Participate in team meetings to provide ideas to achieve the goals of the clients
Partners with Sales/Marketing and Product Managers in business development and practice growth activities.
Leads projects through the all stages of the development life cycle
Reviews and approves the translation of business requirements into functional application specifications and logical data model

Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value
Developing new BI services offerings, content creation, value propositions, revenue/expense projections and technology approach
Qualifications:
4-6 Years of strong retail related implementation / consulting experience
Strong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management style
Strong presentation, Communication skill is the must
Experience leading projects related to business intelligence (BI) and/or business performance management with BI and Analytical
reporting packages such as such as Oracle / SAP BI, Cognos, Hyperion, and/or Business Objects
Data Warehousing / Mining, ETL / EAI / EII, Data Cleansing / Data Scrubbing, Security and Data Access Technologies, Virtualization
and Architecture
Performance management, KPI / Metric Definition, Benchmarking, Score carding and dash boarding, planning and performance
reporting
Conceptual Data modelling, Master Data Management, Data Standardization and Stewardship, Information Integrity and Compliance, Data
